About us
Duel is a SaaS company on a mission to make Brand Advocacy the industry standard philosophy for building brilliant retail brands. It was founded by world record breaking adventurer and former brand ambassador Paul Archer. We exist to show that companies built for advocacy can change the world. In today’s hyper connected world in which social media is now twice the size of all other media channels combined and entirely user generated, the most successful brands are the ones investing in people and in community, not in ads.
The Duel Brand Advocacy Solution allows enterprise brands to do just that. We have onboarded over 60 influential brands such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Charlotte Tilbury, Spanx, Victoria’s Secret, LUSH and Elemis. The Duel team’s global presence includes offices in New York City and London. Our team of 60 plus is composed of psychologists, brand experts and community builders, combining cutting edge brand expertise with seasoned SaaS experience.
Backed by top European VCs, Duel recently announced a 16 million dollar Series A, which will accelerate growth in the US from our base in New York, and bring our entirely AI driven product vision to life to equip brands with the solution needed to drive growth through thousands of advocates, customers, creators and brand ambassadors.
The Role
This role exists to unlock and scale Duel’s enterprise growth.
As Technical Product Manager, CORE, you act as the Solutions Architect and Product Owner for Duel’s enterprise platform layer. You own the foundations that enable Fortune 500 adoption, procurement approval, and long term scalability. This includes identity and access management, security and compliance capabilities, auditability, integration infrastructure, and the technical decisions that shape performance, resilience, and technical debt across the platform.
You sit at the intersection of product, engineering, security, legal, and customer success. You translate complex enterprise compliance and security requirements into product capabilities that are both technically sound and commercially compelling. You engage directly with customer CTOs, CISOs, and security teams during procurement and implementation, positioning Duel’s platform architecture as a competitive advantage that unblocks high value enterprise deals.
This is a deeply technical product role with real commercial accountability. The outcome is simple and demanding. Enable enterprise deals to close faster, onboard smoother, and scale without compromising trust, security, or platform integrity.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Will…
Take end to end ownership of Duel’s CORE platform capabilities that underpin enterprise readiness, including SSO and SAML authentication, SCIM provisioning, audit logging, permissions, role based access control, and integration infrastructure.
Define and evolve the product roadmap for SOC 2 and broader security compliance in close partnership with engineering, security, and legal stakeholders.
Make principled architectural decisions that balance scalability, performance, and long term technical debt across both advocate and brand experiences.
Act as Solutions Architect for Enterprise Customers
Serve as the technical authority during Fortune 500 sales cycles, implementations, and renewals, working directly with customer CTOs, CISOs, and security teams.
Translate customer security, compliance, and infrastructure requirements into clear product solutions, tradeoffs, and timelines.
Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to unblock procurement objections and position Duel’s technical capabilities as reasons to buy.
Bridge Product, Engineering, and the Business
Work deeply with engineering teams to translate enterprise requirements into well scoped, technically feasible product initiatives.
Coordinate across security, legal, data, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution.
Provide clarity and technical leadership across teams when navigating ambiguity, risk, or competing priorities.
Ensure enterprise platform capabilities materially reduce sales friction, shorten procurement cycles, and increase deal confidence.
Continuously identify where technical investments unlock disproportionate commercial value.
Own success metrics tied to enterprise deal velocity, onboarding time, platform reliability, and security posture.
We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have…
A computer science or equivalent technical background, with 5 plus years of hands on experience in technical product management, platform engineering, or solutions architecture roles.
Strong experience working in FinTech or other highly regulated environments, with deep familiarity across identity, security, compliance, and audit requirements.
Proven experience delivering enterprise SaaS platform capabilities such as SSO, SAML, SCIM, SOC 2, RBAC, and integration frameworks.
The ability to engage credibly with senior technical stakeholders, including CTOs, CISOs, and security architects, and translate their needs into product direction.
Experience partnering with Sales and Customer Success to support enterprise deals, implementations, and renewals.
Clear judgment when navigating technical tradeoffs, risk, and long term platform health.
A collaborative, calm, and direct communication style, especially in high pressure or high stakes situations.
Person
You thrive on responsibility and trust. You focus on building platforms that earn confidence, not simply meet requirements.
You operate comfortably at the intersection of technology and business, and you take pride in making complex systems clear and dependable.
You bring fresh perspective, challenge assumptions thoughtfully, and raise the standard of technical rigour across the organisation.
You model ownership, candour, and strong follow-through in everything you deliver.
Beyond your core role, you contribute to Duel by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and helping build a culture where quality, trust, and ambition coexist.
