About Us
Having recently raised a $16M Series A led by Molten Ventures and Bright Pixel Capital, and expanded into New York, we're accelerating our mission to cement Brand Advocacy as the defining growth lever for today's most successful brands, and tomorrow's.
Duel was founded by world-record-breaking adventurer and former brand ambassador Paul Archer.
We set out to make Brand Advocacy the industry standard for building brilliant retail brands. Today, we're the leading Brand Advocacy Platform, helping brands like Abercrombie and Fitch, Charlotte Tilbury, Spanx, Victoria's Secret, LUSH and Elemis grow through their own advocates and communities, not through ads.
At the heart of Duel is an AI-powered Brand Advocacy Platform that helps brands recruit, retain and scale their communities, tracking every advocate action and turning that engagement into measurable commercial value.
It works across two sides: The Advocate Portal, where brand fans complete tasks, earn rewards and manage their presence; and the Operator Dashboard, where brand teams approve applicants, create tasks, moderate content and track performance.
Our Enterprise AI capabilities automate the mundane, so brand teams can focus on what matters: building authentic relationships that drive measurable, lasting growth.
The Duel team is made up of psychologists, agency brand experts, community builders and product guru's from companies including Amazon, Lululemon, Bain, Hogarth, Vayner Media and Mimecast, alongside entrepreneurs and exceptional talent who share one conviction: that the future of brand growth is human, we're combining agency grade brand expertise with seasoned enterprise SaaS experience.
Our Culture
We're building a remarkable company with remarkable people. Advocacy is our north star, for our customers and for the people who work here.
We're a high trust, tight ship team, full of Bloody Brilliant & Utterly Lovely people doing their best work together.
We value trust and freedom above all else, combined with deep ownership, execution, and candor.
Our people hold real equity in Duel, and we take that ownership seriously.
AI-Native Leadership
We don't think the brands that win will be the ones that automate the most. We think they'll be the ones that use AI to deepen real human relationships at scale, and we're building Duel the same way. Being AI-native means we bring that thinking into every decision and every conversation. We look at every workflow, every task, every outsourced service, and every function, and ask whether it can be automated, optimized, or made better with AI. Duel's AIDA, our in-house data hub for proving out AI use cases across the business, backs that with real investment rather than a line in our values deck.
Our Commitment to DEI
Duel is committed to building a team where people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can do their best work. We hire on merit, and we know that a team which thinks and looks the same in every room will always carry blind spots the market will not forgive. Duel is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law. This applies to every stage of employment, including hiring, compensation, promotion, and termination. We welcome applications from candidates of all races, ethnicities, ages, genders, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, national origins, and abilities, and we provide reasonable accommodations for candidates and employees with disabilities throughout the hiring process and on the job.
In-Person and Remote Working Balance
We do much of our best work together in person, which is why we hire people within commuting distance of our offices. We also recognize the value of deep, focused work at home. We are Hybrid First, a hybrid philosophy that gives you freedom and flexibility. You decide how you work best, as long as it's not at the expense of others.
Where You'll Work
Our US team works from Duel's New York City hub in Manhattan. Our UK team works from Bloomsbury House in London, and we also have a smaller hub in Bristol.
Hybrid roles ask you to be in the office 3 days per week for the collaborative work that's harder to do apart, with the flexibility to work from home the rest of the time.
How We Think About Pay
We set our salary ranges by benchmarking what the market pays for the caliber of person any role needs, not by anchoring to a historical number and hoping people meet us partway. The range listed reflects where we genuinely expect to land based on experience and interview performance, and we pay toward the top of it for candidates who clear the bar with room to spare. Where equity or commission applies, we'll walk you through the full structure before you're ever asked to accept anything.

About Duel
The Dueligan Culture
We want to build a remarkable company, with remarkable people, and a remarkable culture, one you'll want to shout from the rooftops about.
Advocacy is our north star, both for our customers and for each other. That means we run a high trust, tight ship. We give people real freedom, real ownership and we advocate for a high performance culture. Deep execution, clear feedback, and genuine accountability aren't nice-to-haves here. They're the job.
Dueligans combined are the largest shareholders in Duel. We take that concept of ownership seriously. If you thrive with autonomy, care about the mission, and want to do your best work alongside utterly lovely, bloody brilliant people, you'll do more than fit in, you'll add to us.
We're a B-Corp because we believe the best businesses are built by caring for people and the planet. That's not a constraint. It's our competitive advantage.
