About us
Duel is a SaaS company on a mission to make Brand Advocacy the industry standard playbook for building brilliant retail brands. It was founded by world record breaking adventurer and former brand ambassador Paul Archer, alongside viral games developer Naio Tsarouchis, and we exist to show there’s a better way to build businesses, to build a better future, proving that caring for people builds brand, which builds long term and exponential profit returns.
The Duel Brand Advocacy Platform allows enterprise brands to do just that, scaling how they manage their relationships with thousands of advocates, customers, creators and brand ambassadors. We’re proud today that brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Charlotte Tilbury, Spanx, Victoria’s Secret and Elemis (to name a few, but not to name some household names that we can’t talk about yet) are doing just that. The Duel team comprises psychologists, brand experts and community builders, combining cutting edge brand expertise, with seasoned SaaS experience.
The Role
At Duel, we don’t just build, we’re building a category to be recognised as the philosophy for building brilliant retail brands. Whether it’s a relationship, a piece of content, an idea, or a framework, we create with purpose to maximise impact.
We are looking for a visionary Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. If you’re passionate about building community-driven products, leading from discovery to delivery, and driving measurable impact, you’ll thrive here.
Advocates are at the heart of Brand Advocacy. You’ll play a critical role in expanding our newly formed Advocate Squad, a cross-functional team focused on increasing advocate engagement, deepening community connection, and delivering real ROI for the brands we serve.
As the product manager within this squad, you’ll be responsible for shaping the end-to-end advocate experience. This means designing intuitive, compelling journeys that inspire action and loyalty, while also aligning with our brand’s growth objectives.
We’re looking for someone who will…
Create, own, and communicate a coherent squad strategy – defining the key levers the squad will use to achieve its objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product design, data science, and customer success teams to build and maintain a backlog of high-confidence, well-scoped opportunities aligned to the squad’s strategy.
Conduct customer interviews and market research to deeply understand the most impactful problems to solve and analyse how competitors approach similar challenges.
Design and run tactical experiments that test and build confidence in the solutions we plan to deliver.
Efficiently build and ship high-quality features to our users, ensuring each release includes the necessary monitoring, support, and documentation for successful adoption.
Run the squad’s sprints and ceremonies to maintain a healthy team cadence and drive the squad forward at an effective velocity.
And ultimately, deliver measurable impact on key metrics that contribute to achieving the company’s commercial goals.
We’d love to hear from you if…
You have 5+ years’ experience leading product squads in a Series A–B, product-first startup environment.
You’ve worked in or are familiar with MarTech, community-driven, or loyalty-based platforms.
You can collaborate with brand success and implementation teams to plan the migration of existing brands to the new platform.
You have a knack for diving deep into user experiences, especially post-MVP, and know how to identify and prioritise improvements.
You bring strong roadmap planning skills, balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
You’re driven by results and want to see tangible impact, including increased GAV (Gross Advocate Value) and engagement rates.
You love identifying opportunities and working with senior leaders & brand stakeholders to shape a forward-looking 2026 product roadmap.
You’re customer-obsessed, always referencing customer needs throughout the product development lifecycle.
You easily connect day-to-day decisions with high-level commercial objectives, and you’re comfortable making tough prioritisation calls.
You keep stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the product journey—managing expectations and celebrating milestones.
You’re driven by data, regularly digging into metrics, running analyses, and drawing insights to guide your decision-making.
You’re delivery-focused, you build strong rapport with your squad and confidently lead them through successful sprints, from planning to release.
The Dueligan Culture
We want to build a remarkable company with remarkable people and a remarkable culture that you will want to shout from the rooftops about. Advocacy is our north star, both for our customers and our employees.
A High Trust, Tight Ship, full of Utterly Lovely & Bloody Brilliant People doing their Best Work Together
We value trust and freedom above all else. Yet this must be combined with deep ownership, execution, and clear, candid communication. If this is not how you are at Duel, or you break that trust, you will not be around for long.
Dualigans combined are the largest shareholders in Duel. We take that concept of ownership seriously.
Duel Perks and Package
We do much of our best work as a team together in the office, which is why we are hiring people within a commutable distance of our London or New York offices.
However, we also know that we do our best work alone at home, and we all need to be able to balance work with life, childcare commitments, and other responsibilities. The office philosophy is hybrid, where you're encouraged to be in the office a few days a week, namely when your team will be there.
However, the name of the game with everything we do is freedom and flexibility. So you do, as long as it's not at the expense of others.
