Are you an experienced product owner, looking for an industry-defining SaaS product to get your teeth stuck into? If so, we want to meet you!
We’re looking for a product powerhouse, whose expertise can take our roadmap to the next level. Managing Duel’s full product lifecycle, you’ll lead the vision of the product, working to deeply understand the needs of CMOs everywhere and ensure that the product is built to be recognised as the leading Brand Advocacy Platform on the market.
With a data-driven approach and a deep-rooted love of software - your creativity and innovation will generate new product ideas, and design specifications and ultimately be the key driver behind the successful execution of product delivery. This is a unique opportunity to fully own and drive the end-to-end success of an innovative future-disrupting product.
THE COMPANY
Duel was founded by world-record-breaking adventurer and former brand ambassador Paul Archer, alongside viral games developer Naio Tsarouchis.
They believed that purpose-led brands are changing the way we all live and set out to define how the greatest brands of tomorrow grow through their passionate customers and advocates. Duel exists to show there’s a better way to build businesses; how building long-term brand, integrity and reputation is the most profitable way to operate because of the advocacy it drives.
Our Brand Advocacy Platform allows mid-level to enterprise brands to do just that - scaling how they manage their relationships with thousands of advocates and brand ambassadors. We’re proud today that brands such as Monica Vinader, Charlotte Tilbury, Rab, Dove BeautyPie, Mint Velvet, Neom and Tropicfeel (to name a few) are doing just that.
The Duel team comprises psychologists, brand experts and community builders from companies including Amazon, Treatwell, Bain, Mimecast and Lululemon as well as young entrepreneurs, psychologists and other exceptional talents.
THE ROLE
Within this role, you’ll get under the hood of the Duel platform and its roadmap. Responsible for ensuring that our clients’ needs are anticipated and built into the vision, as well as keeping an eye on the competitive landscape and brand needs. Reporting into the Leadership team and working cross-functionally with Engineering, Brand Success and Commercial, you’ll be the most important link between Duel’s CMO customer and the development of the product.
You will be responsible for thinking about the product’s business case, market potential and working through the technical aspects of delivering a product to market.
Ownership of the Product

Work closely with product management and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio
Market Understanding
Maintain an understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup and other new trends to support the CTO
Researching and analysing the Brand Advocacy market, its users and the roadmap for the product
Keeping up to date with Duel’s competitors and the industry more broadly, and what's hot in our customers’ minds
Strategy and Development
Working with internal and external clients and users to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
Drafting key objectives, results and strategies - then applying the data for the product to make business decisions

Maintaining a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
Acting as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
